I truly believe that we are setting ourselves up for disaster by depending upon other countries for technology and oil and vehicles and clothing and luxury vacation destinations.  It's unfortunate, but it's true. And scary for future generations.  We are making every other country richer.

If we do not start creating real wealth and manufacturing goods again, our grandchildren and great grandchildren will have to be fluent in Chinese to survive.  We have more debt than the history of the world has ever accumulated COMBINED.  Someone has to pay back all this debt...who's it going to be???
