Last week there were talks coming out of Russia that Putin would point his nuclear and other missiles at European countries if the United States continued and followed through with its plan to place Anti-Missile Stations in Czech Republic and Poland. The United States was placing these Defense Missiles there to prevent any attack from Iran or possible North Korea. Russia took offense to this and made a statement that they will point their missiles at European countries if we follow through with these actions.

Finally today at the G8 Summit meeting in Germany, President Bush & President Putin resolved their issues and talks began between them. Hopefully this will minimize the tensions between these two World Powers so to stop another insuing Cold War.
