The writer's strike has been going on for about 2 months now and I definitely notice myself watching a lot less TV.
On one hand: It seems fair for the writer's to get portions of the profits form internet content.
On the other hand: I have a hard time sympathizing with people who's work is 90% crap.
If the writer's were baseball players, they would be lucky if they were batting .100, which is enough to get anyone cut. Apparently this is the strategy the networks have been taking. Over the past few days ABC, CBS, Fox, Universal, and Warner Bros have been dropping the producers, directors, and writers due to the strike. ABC slashed about 30% of it's contracts.
How do you feel about the writer's strike?
